Playing Rough... Starring Legos

The boys are starting to get to the age where they play real well together.  However they are also at the age where there is a lot of rough play, too much if you ask me.  It seems they are always breaking things and taking things apart not really realizing the consequences involved.  It's tough being a parent. You watch everything that you have built come crumbling down before you.

The Movie

I really hope this is just a phase.

  1. Be happy that you are just getting all that now mate, my twins are only 6 and they have been at that type of behaviour basically since they could walk. I am pretty much at the stage where i hate Christmas and birthday's because i feel it's a waste of money buying expensive toys etc that i know will be broken with 5 minutes of them opening the box. But it's kids for you i just try and make sure that i tell them every time they break something that i am not happy and disappointed in how they treat there items and that they need to learn to be more careful with their toys.

  3. Fun stuff! Thanks for sharing, and blessings to you as you figure it all out. It just seems to be natural- one boy is a boy, 2 boys are a wrestling match!

  4. Dude, our kids man, we go through the days when all hell breaks loose and nothing is safe. It kills me to think about how they treat stuff sometimes. But I think I may have been like that and I think since they are finally starting to buy their own stuff it may help. Another great video, once again.

  8. I'm shocked, honestly... in our house, Daddy is the instigator of the rough play!! With everybody. It's a lot worse when it's a 200 lb cowboy crashing into the coffee table! #CommentDay

  11. There were some Lego guys I could not show you... I wouldn't want to frighten the kids. I never thought of my kids as having a sick mind, but seeing some of their "creations" I am having second thoughts.

  12. Well, it's a good thing legos don't have private parts because that's the first thing to get broken on me when my kid rough-houses.
